This policy explains what personal data is collected through the DOGS² project website and how it is used.

1. Data we collect

The subscription form collects only your email address. If optional fields are added later, their purpose will be clearly stated next to them. We do not collect postal addresses, phone numbers, payment details or identity documents through this form.

2. How your email is used

Your email is used only for DOGS² project communications:

• development updates and new project materials;
• invitations to alpha or beta testing;
• requests for engineering feedback;
• news about the planned crowdfunding campaign.

We do not sell your email address or share it with advertisers.

3. Consent and unsubscribing

Subscription is voluntary and may require confirmation by email. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting the project owner.

4. Email delivery service

A third-party email delivery service is used to maintain the subscriber list, confirm subscriptions and send messages. It processes only the data necessary to provide those services under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions such as opening the subscription section or following project links. Google may process technical information including device, browser, approximate location and usage data. You can restrict this collection through your browser settings or privacy tools.

6. Retention

Your email is retained while you remain subscribed or while the DOGS² mailing list operates. After unsubscribing, it is removed from active mailings. A minimal suppression record may be retained to prevent messages being sent again without renewed consent.

7. Your rights

You may ask whether your address is stored, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent, or request a copy of your data.
